I remember the last time I had to pay about $350 for my trip to Bangkok via budget airline! If only this deal had come earlier.. Firstly let’s check with Agoda.com for the rate of the hotel should you choose to make the booking on your own. Assuming you are traveling over a period of weekend from 13 July (Friday) – 15 July (Monday) for a 4D3N stay at My Hotel Pratunam.

*Note: We tried to search on several dates for 4D3N stay at My Hotel over the weekends from June – July and most of the rooms are not available anymore especially on Booking.com.

The rate for a Standard Double room with breakfast at My Hotel on Agoda.com is $118.08. Note that this price is for 2 persons as the maximum occupant allow is 2. Therefore the price for one would be $118.08/2 = $59.04.

Now comes the part, how about an air ticket to Bangkok via SQ? Let’s do a check with Singapore Airline’s website on the price should you choose to make the booking on your own. Taking the same traveling dates from 13 July – 15 July, one would have to pay a total of $491.90 for a return ticket to Bangkok! And baggage is not included in this price! Who would actually pay this amount for a trip to Bangkok?!?

Taking SQ to Bangkok?? Hmm..

Let’s add up the price for the hotel and the air ticket for a 4D3N trip to Bangkok, $59.04 + $491.90 = $550.94. Woah, that is probably equivalent to my food and shopping expenses at Bangkok!

What more, you get to enjoy the comfort and experience by traveling on SQ flight! And the hotel is located at a pretty convenient location as well. Need we say more?

The only complain we have is that the booking and travel period is too short!  You only have two days to make the booking and about a month for the travel period. So make your decision fast! If it fits your schedule, GO FOR IT before the time is up!
