Looking at both deals carefully, you will realise that they are actually quite similar. The only difference is the activity you will be doing after having lunch at Seoul Garden. To be honest, it has been a while since I patronize Seoul Garden. The main reason is that the price is considered to be pretty costly as compared with other steamboat buffet restaurant in which you are able to find easily in Singapore.

Now with this deal, we are able to enjoy what we have been missing at a cheaper price and on top of that, you get to enjoy the beautiful skyline in Singapore.

Since both deal a Seoul Garden Korean lunch buffet, let’s check out the original price should you choose to patronize the restaurant without this voucher.

The main pricing we are looking at would be the Lunch buffet on both Weekday and Weekend, as the lunch buffet voucher for this deal is valid from Monday – Sunday as well. Below shows a table depicting the total price you have to pay  including GST and Service Charge.

Now that we have the original price of the buffet lunch, let’s check out on the original price of the River cruise and Singapore flyer.

Firstly for the river cruise, it is not mentioned that how long the cruise tour is going to be. We tried calling the merchant and realised that it is a public holiday today therefore nobody is picking up the phone. But with past experiences, the tour is usually based on the lower pricing, which is a 40mins tour or shorter. Assuming that the tour is on “The tale of 2 Quays” (40mins), the original price for an adult ticket would be $17 and for a child ticket would be $10.

Next for the Singapore Flyer experience, the original price is as below:

• Adult – $29.50
• Child (3 – 12 years old) – $20.65
• Senior (60 years or older) – $23.6

The uniquely experience

With all the prices that we gathered, let add up the original prices for both type of deals. The lunch buffet plus River cruise, namely the “Seoul + River” and the lunch buffer plus Singapore flyer, namely the “Seoul + Flyer”. With the Seoul garden lunch buffet price based on weekday lunch and weekend lunch.

Note that the table below is the original prices should one choose to purchase the package yourself without this deal.

Now with the original prices for the same package that we get by purchasing these two deals, let’s now then compare the original prices with what this deal is offering and difference.

WHAT ADL SAYS:

Looking at the table above, purchasing both deals does allow you to save a substantial amount of savings with the biggest savings of $20.24 for the “Seoul + River” and $22.74 for the “Seoul + Flyer” on the weekends! However, if you are planning to bring your child along, you might be disappointed as you are actually paying more should you choose to purchase this deal.

The validity for deals is the same for the Seoul Garden lunch buffet except for the River cruise ticket which is valid till 30 Jun 2012 and for the Singapore flyer ticket which is valid till 31 August 2012 for non peak until 6pm.

Now we would think that it is entirely up to you whether you prefer the Sea which is the Seoul + River deal or the Sky which is the Seoul + Flyer deal. Both deals allow you to save some money for the adult. We feel that what’s really the deal here is the Seoul Garden lunch buffet which is definitely worth your money as it is valid for Monday – Sunday which Public holidays and Mother days is excluded. If you want to make full use of the savings, go for it during the weekends but do remember to check with the outlet that you will be patronizing for you might be surprised at the crowd during the weekends!
