Please note that for this deal, a minimum of 2 purchases are required. Hence, the total amount one must pay for this deal is in fact $14 ($7 x 2). One coupon will allow one to choose from one of the 3 available Chicken Combo.
Now, lets do the price check for this deal. According to the menu of the restaurant, the chicken at the restaurant itself can either be cooked in the normal roasted style or in the Portuguese spices style. However, for the Portuguese spices style, an additional $1 is needed. For this deal, there is no indication as to whether the chicken will be in the normal style or in the Portuguese spices style. ADL called up the restaurant to double checked this, and according to the female staff over the phone, one can choose either style, and no additional charges will be incurred.
As for the normal price of the 3 different Chicken combo, should we refer to the menu at the restaurant website, one will find out that the stated original price is as follow. Do note that the restaurant charges a 10% service charge.
1. Quarter Chicken with Briyani Rice – $8.80 ($9.68 after service charge)
2. Quarter Chicken with Chips – $7.30 ($8.03 after service charge)
3. Chicken Schnitzel and 3 Salads of your choice – $8.80 ($9.68 after service charge)
” What?! The original price is not much difference from the price of this deal!??!?! Why is the original price of this deal stated as $16.40?! This deal is a LEAK! “
Yes, that’s our reaction too when we first found out the original price of the deal. But…. Wait a minute!
The above stated prices are in fact taken from the old menu. The restaurant’s website was last updated on 24th April 2011 (scroll down to the footer of the website), which explains why the menu on the site is still the old one. Should we refer to the NEW menu, as shown below, one can then clearly see that the original price of the 3 different combos are much higher.
1. Quarter Chicken with Briyani Rice – $14.90 ($16.39 after service charge)
2. Quarter Chicken with Chips – $12.50 ($13.75 after service charge)
3. Chicken Schnitzel and 3 Salads of your choice – $12.90 ($14.19 after service charge)
Hence, the original price of this deal is really $16.40 (taking the highest price of the 3 combo)!
TADAH! There you have it, this deal is really not a scam after all. A huge amount of savings is involved! In fact, we do not even need to show you the exact calculation. The price one has to pay for this deal is $14. And with $14, one can get 2 combos. However, with $14, one can at most get ONLY ONE of the available combos should one not purchase this deal.
WHAT ADL SAYS:
This deal may be a little ambiguous if one compare the prices with the old menu at the restaurant’s website. In fact, we believe, quite a few consumers would have made this mistake. Which is why, we are there to help! (PS: remember to subscribe to us on the right!)
Savings is definitely involved for this deal. And hence, with regards to the price aspect of this deal, we say that it is truly authentic
Other than the price of this deal, we would like to further comment on the other aspect deal. Firstly, bear in mind that one of the clause of this deal states that this deal is only valid from 230pm onwards for weekdays. This means to say, one is not able to redeem this deal for lunch. This is one of the main thing that we do not like about this deal, and we believe that this clause will make the deal a turn off for the working adults in the area. As for the location of the restaurant, it is very near to Tanjong Pagar MRT. Hence, accessibility is not an issue here. The validity period of this deal is approximately 3 months up till 10 March 2012. This should be more than enough time for one to redeem the deal.

![[MEGA DEAL LEAK]! Did You Say FREE Mexican Drumlets!? FREE!?](http://alldealsleak.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/BK-Mexican-Drumlets.jpg)

the deal aside, i would like to mention that i really hate it when the original price stated is way above what is the original price. There was once, I bought a deal (i’m not going to mention from which website), visited the restaurant and realise that the discount amount i get is only like $2 off. The manager explained that the original price stated was by adding up the dishes ala carte prices (my coupon entitles me to a meal with 3 dishes), and not the price of the 3 dish meal as per stated in the restaurant. WTH…
anyway, good job there in this deal review.
