  • 1 voucher per person. Min 2 to go. Max 6 pax travelling per booking.
  • Includes ALL prevailing Govt. & hotel taxes
  • Book 14 days before departure date. Strictly no cancellation/amendment once booking is confirmed

What first caught me with my eyes is actually the terms and conditions. Even though it was mentioned that this deal is valid till April 2013, which seems like you have up to a year for travel to Hanoi at a cheap price. However, notice the peak period surcharge from 1 Nov – 30 April 2013, that’s exactly 6 months of peak period they considered in which you have to pay an additional of $7 per pax.

Next, let’s jump straight and do a check with Agoda.com and Booking.com to find out the price of the hotel should you choose to make the booking on your own. Assuming you are travelling over a period of weekend on a ‘non-peak period’ from 14 Sept 12 (Friday) – 16 Sept 12 (Sunday) and over a period of weekend on a ‘peak period’ on the Dec holiday from 14 Dec 12 (Friday) – 16 Dec 12 (Sunday).

Note that the prices above are subject to changes.

An Hanoi feel to Nam Ngu Hotel deluxe room

Since both non-peak and peak period offers the same price, let’s take the cheapest price from booking.com and compare it with what this deal is offering. Notice that the price of $142.29 is for 2 pax, therefore it would cost you $71.15 per pax. Comparing what this deal is offering you at $57, isn’t this cheaper? Now if we are travelling on the peak period when using this deal, you have to pay an additional of $7 more. Adding this up, the total you have to pay for peak period when using this deal is $57 + $7 = $64. Comparing this to should you choose to make the booking on your own, you are still getting a good deal there!

Let’s see what else is included in this deal.

Package includes:

  • 2 Night’s Stay in Deluxe Room
  • Breakfast
  • Welcome drinks for 2
  • Complimentary WiFi in room
  • Guaranteed late check-out @ 3pm

What’s the perk here is actually the ‘Guaranteed late check-out @ 3pm’ which you may not be able to get if you choose to make the booking on your own.
